Wow! I could really spend forever moving these annotations around! I hope you can see where everything is. I finally figured out how to change the symbols in the legend (so that all the shapes are not rectangles), I really like that. It really helps to see other people work.

  1. Good map. I see that a lot of people are commenting on the legends and how much info is in them. I did the same thing and added everything. After looking at my map & seeing all the comments, I see where there could be to much in the legend.
I know what you mean about spending a lot of time on this. I almost went crosseyed looking at my map & could see things that needed to be revised every time I printed it.

  2. Nice. I suggest, more map less legend. Interstates should be top layer in 'Major Highways'.

  3. Good job. I'm impressed you were able to reduce the size of your map dataframe and still get everything on there. I agree with the above comments, the legend is a little distracting. Maybe putting it in two columns or with the map as the background would make it less dominant while still identifying all the different features. I dig the non-rectangle legend symbols. I figured that out after I finished and posted my map...next time.

  4. Nice legend, I need to learn how to adjust the shapes. I will go along with making it smaller, if possible. Your state colors are a little hard for me to deal with. I wouldn't want to have to work with the map for any great deal of time.

  5. You did a very nice job! Everything is easy to read- good contrasts and good amount of content.

  6. The fonts and graphics seem be much crisper than my map - did you export using a high dpi? Nice map.
